This is a purely metaphorical piece, and implies no direct harm to any individual or group. The "I" is a symbol for any trans person, as is the vague, shadowed figure. It's an expression of frustration and anger and tenacity. It's a statement of determination and endurance.
The trans community will outlive those that seek to do it harm. We will be here when your politicians and grifters and shitposters and concern trolls and terfs and media parasites are old and withering. We will be here even if you succeed in making it illegal for us to exist anywhere. We will be here even if you build camps for us. Even if you kill every living trans person - there will be more. We will still be here. Forever. You can never, ever get rid of us. No matter how hard you try. You will always, always fail. We are not afraid of you. You cannot kill us in a way that matters.
